"MUSCULAR SYSTEM"
The Muscular System is an organ system consisting of skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscles.
"INFORMATION"
- The muscular system permits movement of the body, maintains, posture and the blood.
- The muscular system in vertebrates is controlled through the nervous system although some muscles (like cardiac muscles) can be completely autonomous.
- There are distinct types of muscles, cardiac or heart muscles, skeletal muscles and smooth muscles.
- Muscles provide strength, balance, posture, movement and heat for the body.
FUNCTIONS & ORGANS
1. Body movement due to the contraction of the skeletal muscles.
2. The maintenance of the posture that is due to skeletal muscles.
3. The respiration of the movements of the muscles of the thorax.
4. The production of the body heat.
5. The communication through each person.
6. Heart beat made by the cardiac muscle.
